The Berserker class in Torchlight 2 is comparable to barbarians, fighters, and other melee classes in the classic RPG archetypes. Playstyle: Melee bruiser that likes to get into no-holds-barred brawlsĭifficulty: Difficult, thanks to low health pool But by following these new tips for Torchlight 2 class builds, players can be confident that their build will remain good throughout the whole game. Ultimately, most builds are viable, and it's up to players to figure out what works for them and remains fun to play. This Torchlight 2 tier list has been updated to provide two powerful build options for each class, to set players new to Torchlight 2 on the right path. Though the Engineer is considered by many to be the best class in Torchlight 2, the best Berserker build is still more effective than the worst Engineer build. Updated Octoby Erik Petrovich : Of all four Torchlight 2 classes, it's difficult to choose a best class, and that's in part thanks to the build diversity of each option. While there are pros and cons to be considered for each class, there is one considered to be the most powerful and one that players will largely struggle with. Each has its own unique playstyle and key advantages to dominate in combat. I'm still working on diffrent builds for the outlander class so its only a matter of time to find a build I like.īut so for easiest for me has been engie with the heal bot and all the other nice toys in that spec. There are four classes to be found in Torchlight 2, Outlander, Embermage, Berserker, and Engineer. In boss fights its real pain in the ass with any adds the boss has, unlike in other games like WoW the pet in this game is not much of a tank for an outlander. You would think so but I find engi to be a bit easier then Outlander, I rolled an Outlander as my second chara and against individual targets outlander is fine, but when you get in those monster pile ups you pretty much have to tuck tail and run, switch to a CC weapon like the shotgun and pray nothings loops behind you or comes from the side. I will have to play both classes more, but so far the Outlander doesn't even come close. From the few skills that I have tried so far, Embermage has some ridiculous damage potential. The point I am getting at is it isn't always the bow user, and I don't think Outlander is going to take the title. Sorceress from D2 and Paladin with enigma from D2. In which case, you forgot several examples of games that date farther back. ![]() In other words, able to deal the most damage while avoiding the most damage. ![]()
